    I had a lot of fun making this Crochet Temperature Blanket for a present for someone special using an apache tears pattern. It was a great evening lockdown activity and as I did this for the birth year of my mum by looking up historic UK temperatures, I already had the data rather than sticking to one row per day. Full disclosure, getting the data was time consuming and took 3 evenings to copy down all the data!     Crochet Rainbow

    I’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet and decided that lockdown was the perfect opportunity to try. After much um-ing and ah-ing, I decided that a rainbow was the perfect project to start to add some colour to our neighbourhood while we couldn’t go out. I followed this video by Crochet by Bev and, after one restart, soon got into the hang of the double crochet, increasing stitch pattern with the result: one colourful rainbow and a small amount of my wool stash used!
