Crochet Rainbow

crochet rainbow

I’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet and decided that lockdown was the perfect opportunity to try. After much um-ing and ah-ing, I decided that a rainbow was the perfect project to start to add some colour to our neighbourhood while we couldn’t go out.

I followed this video by Crochet by Bev and, after one restart, soon got into the hang of the double crochet, increasing stitch pattern with the result: one colourful rainbow and a small amount of my wool stash used!

I then chained some crochet strands in the top colour (red) to hang on a stick from the garden for a rustic look and it is now hanging proudly in a window. If anyone has any tips for getting it to hang flatter, I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
